Kenny Chesney Earns First Solo Grammy Nomination for 'Cosmic Hallelujah'

December 3, 2017

Kenny Chesney's sixteenth studio album, Cosmic Hallelujah, has earned him his first solo Grammy nomination for Best Country Album. Co-produced with Buddy Cannon, the project has brought fans four singles so far including "Noise," "Setting the World on Fire," "Bar at the End of the World," and "All the Pretty Girls."

“The Grammys represent the entire music community coming together,” Chesney explains. “It’s the best of the best of every kind of music there is, voted on by the creators, the players, the songwriters, producers and engineers. To have this nomination means a lot, because it is about the music – and given how Cosmic Hallelujah got here, I can’t think of a better honor.”

Kenny Chesney will once again hit the road in 2018 for his Trip Around the Sun Stadium Tour with special guests Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and Brandon Lay.
